Bath Quiz another superb evening

The 2nd BLS Bath Lawyers Quiz took place on 29 October 2015 at the Offices of Withy King Solicitors. 9 teams of 5 chose seasonal Halloween inspired names, with the most original team winning best name. This went to Withy King solicitors team ‘Nightmare on Graham Street’, paying homage to their managing partner, Graham Street.

The teams battled a gruelling barrage of questions over 9 rounds ranging from the obligatory picture round to the more obscure Round P (all the answers starting with the letter P). Quiz night staples of General Knowledge, Food & Drink, Music and Sport featured along with Health & Body and a very topical round entitled ‘Bond’.

The evening was hosted by quizmaster Scott Silbereis who was ably assisted by his glamorous keeper of the scoreboard, Ali Cloak.

Bath Quiz 1

A fun time was had by all teams taking part, raising money for BLS Charity of the Year, St Peter’s Hospice and for Bath based Charity, Dorothy House. The total raised is still to be verified.

Thanks goes to lead sponsor, Wessex Searches, who donated the generous first and team name prizes along with goodie bags for all those attending. Thanks also goes to Withy King, Stone King, Thrings and Mogers Drewett who also sponsored the evening.
