Following consultation with Bristol District Judges, please note that the service known as informal appointments has now been withdrawn. If any application or order is deemed urgent, Solicitors are now advised to make arrangements with the court office for the case to be referred to a District Judge using the urgent internal referral system that is already in place. If a Solicitor specifically requires an audience with a named District Judge they should report to the Usher reception desk on floor 1 by 10am. The Usher will then seek permission of the District Judge to enquire if the reason for seeking an audience is justified and on that basis, an informal appointment may be permitted.
