PRACTISING CERTIFICATE RENEWALS


 

Following the delays in implementation due to the change-over to online renewals, all members of the Society are reminded that the SRA is now moving ahead with annual renewals for 2011.

Bristol Law Society is concerned to learn about any difficulties that members have, so if you do have problems please contact us at news@legal-life.com and the Society will make representations on your behalf.

Des Hudson at the Law Society has asked us to draw to your attention the SRA timetable and advice from the National Law Society.

They suggest that firms:-

  • regualarly check the SRA website in case of updates and changes to the timetable (www.sra.org.uk)
  • in case of problems contact the SRA contact centre which will be open on Mondays and Fridays from 0830 – 1700 ; on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 0830 – 1900; and on Saturdays fropm 0900 – 1400.
  • contact the SRA contact centre if you have problems with the MySRA registration

Any problems should be promptly reported, as then and only then can the Law Society negotiate for an extension for the renewal process.
