Can you help? Brexit Impact feedback – Bristol View

Robert Bourns is a member of the Brexit Law Committee which has reps from CityUK, Corp of Ldn, Bar, Judiciary and reps from MOJ, HMT and BEIS.

He had a meeting with David Lidington, Lord Chancellor recently, where he asked for info to be given to the MOJ on impact of BREXIT on practices beyond the City. He wants to deal with the suggestion that the impact is confined to and only an issue for the City.

Clearly BLS members will have their own experience of it but their views would be welcomed. The information need only be anecdotal at this time and can pick up on discussions with clients on deals, how structured, choice of jurisdiction, impact on contractual terms reference such issues as dispute resolution etc.

If you have any thoughts/ feedback on this please get in contact with the SW Law Society Rep at Ravinder.hothi@lawsociety.org.uk
