Education employment solicitor required to join well regarded team.  Applicants will have at least a year's experience of employer-focussed employment law practice, although an exceptional candidate with less experience may be considered.  Education experience is not essential, although this would be a clear advantage but candidates must demonstrate a strong desire to work in education. 

The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to:

develop strong client relationships with schools and other education institutions, including independent schools;
advise clients, helping them decide the best course of action;
communicate concisely both verbally and in writing with colleagues and clients;
draft documents that are clear and concise;
conduct effective case and transaction management;
advocate and present orally when required;
research the relevant legal issues applicable to a case;
conduct negotiations where appropriate;
use confidently office IT applications; good typing skills;
contribute to the firm's business development activities.
