Employment is a core area for this firm.  Currently comprising 3 Partners, 4 Associates, and 4 Assistants, it is financially successful, ambitious and hardworking, but also very supportive and convivial.  The team also works closely with colleagues in the Pensions & Incentives Team.   Now seeking to recruit an additional Employment Solicitor with at least four years PQE, the team can offer a high quality and varied workload including:-
- "trusted advisor"/employment relations support, on occasion on an intensive basis to demanding commercial clients.
- advising on unfair dismissal and discrimination tribunal claims
- support work for the corporate, commercial and insolvency teams
- involvement in business development and know how initiatives

The ideal candidate will have:
- at least 4 years experience pqe in employment law with a major regional or City firm working with large (1000 employees plus) corporate clients
- strong academics
- a flair for giving commercial legal advice to large employer clients and instilling client confidence
- an aptitude for building strong relationships with clients
- an interest in business development and, ideally, presenting seminars and training events.
- an ability to supervise junior fee earners
- a desire to work in a collegiate and supportive team based environment
- an enthusiasm for the subject.
