Members and Benefits

Bristol Law Society is a private members, local law society providing a focus for the local legal community. Membership is individual not corporate and is renewable annually. Membership was originally limited to solicitors. Now, all solicitors, barristers, trainee solicitors, pupil barristers and ILEX members are entitled to join.

To apply to join, please note that you must have a proposer and seconder who are members of Bristol Law Society. All cheques should be sent to Bristol Law Society made payable to BLS. If you have any queries, please contact us at membership@bristollawsociety.com

Membership confers a number of benefits including reduced gym membership and access to various special offers. Members receive the Bristol Law Society monthly news and views magazine, Bristol Briefing and are entitled to access the centrally located Law Library and use the Library reading room.
