If you’re asking yourself “who is Mike Lewis?” I’ll start from the beginning. I’ve been working in the legal support industry since 2008, working closely with the Bristol Law Society in the last number of years – you’ve probably seen me at the annual awards dinner! I originally was the Site Manager of K2 Legal Support, working with a majority of firms in Bristol, assisting with outsourced legal reprographics. From K2, I then moved to Hobs Repro where, as well as providing legal reprographics services, I also supported legal firm’s marketing efforts with high-quality print and display graphics. Everything from business cards to exhibition stands, mailshots to bespoke bid documents. After a short sabbatical of four months in the healthcare industry, I’m back supporting law firms with the offerings of Anexsys.
You might be asking “why do I care that you’re back?” Well, let me tell you a bit about Anexsys. First and foremost, Anexsys is a technology company who offer a range of consultancy and tech solutions to law firms. The eDisclosure software, analytics and litigation support services we offer assists our clients throughout the lifecycle of a case. On top of this, we offer outsourced copying, scanning and printing of all documents; from ancient deeds to large scale trial bundles. It’s likely that our paths could cross regardless of whether you’re a sole trader or regional heavyweight.
If we worked together during my time at Hobs Repro you may be asking “what’s different about your new role, and how does it affect our relationship?” Anexsys are actually part of the Hobs Group of companies, the main difference is that I am now specifically here to help with legal support. If you’re one of my previous marketing contacts, I’m still happy to talk to you about your collateral requirements and can ensure you’re looked after by one of my Hobs Repro colleagues. My new role within Anexsys is National Head of Reprographics. I have responsibility for the hard copy side of the Anexsys business, across our five locations. My initial aim is to review the service we are offering our clients and ensure our services are responsive, accurate and confidential. The requirements of our clients are changing as the digital side of the business becomes more prominent. I intend to position Anexsys as the go-to service provider, offering consultancy and support to ease the transition of these ever-changing requirements.
