The Architecture of Change - The SRA’s new Handbook:

The Solicitors Regulation Authority welcomes the views of Bristol Law Society members to help in their development of the new Handbook of Regulations that will replace the current Solicitors Code of Conduct. 

This consultation is called “The Architecture of Change” and is open for comments from 28 May 2010 until 20 August 2010. The SRA are keen to explore the likely impact of the new Handbook on all aspects of practice including quality of service, independence, equality, human rights and competition and to explore how Outcomes-Focused Regulation (OFR) can be delivered in an effective, fair and proportionate manner.
