It has made a long-term investment in its real estate practice both in the UK and internationally, offering extensive expertise in RE investment, RE funds, student accommodation, regeneration, residential development, and retail.
Team and Role
Noted in Chambers and Partners for their ability at “presenting themselves as a team rather than funnelling everything through partners”.
The real estate team includes more than 70 lawyers in total including 17 Partners.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join the real estate team in its Bristol office which currently comprises 9 Partners and 42 further qualified lawyers. Candidates will have the opportunity to work on varied, high quality work for household name clients across all areas of our Real Estate practice.
Technical skills and experience
The client is looking to appoint a very capable and dedicated lawyer with a genuine desire to develop their career as a rounded property lawyer. You will have some commercial property law experience and ideally some residential property development experience gained at a city, national or large regional law firm recognised for its property practice. As a guide, due to the nature of the work and the structure of the team, they are looking to appoint a lawyer with approximately 1 years’ PQE in this area, although they will consider candidates with more or less experience.
In addition to a good technical grounding, you will:
• Have good communication skills;
• Be a team player with a ‘can do’ attitude;
• Have drive, enthusiasm and ambition; and
• Be commercially focused.
You will also be confident working independently as well as working within a team and be committed to working in Bristol.
