Meade King LLP this year celebrates 222 years of legal practice in Bristol.
The keen cricketers in the firm point out that a score of 222, known as a “double Nelson” is a rare and special feat. The legal team at Meade King is hopping with excitement at reaching this milestone.
For the last 29 of those years partner Richard Boulding has gone into bat on behalf of literally thousands of clients needing help with their wills and family inheritance issues. Richard has just stepped down from the captaincy of the firm’s private client team but will continue as a consultant to help look after the financial affairs of vulnerable clients through his work on Court of Protection matters.
Meade King is delighted that former associate, Mary McCartney, and Vanessa Eyre, newly recruited from another well-known Bristol legal practice, have agreed to become partners in the firm and jointly to lead the re-named Personal Estate Planning team.
Between them, Mary and Vanessa have a wealth of experience in advising both business clients and private individuals on estate planning, wills and trusts as well as the administration of complex estates.
Managing Partner, James Hawkins, comments “We are very pleased that Richard is staying on in a consultative role and are delighted to have, in Mary and Vanessa, such high calibre replacements. Their extensive experience and skill will enhance and develop the services we offer to existing as well as new private clients.”
