Professional teams from across Bristol pitted their wits against each other in a stunning display of musical knowledge at the Bristol Law Society’s Annual Music Quiz, held at Toto’s on 20th September, reports Edward Sanguinetti of Burges Salmon.
With the generous sponsorship of Wesleyan for Lawyers (who also held a draw for a £50 Amazon voucher), the teams named that tune and teased out band names from such cryptic clues as “A mephitic mammal one grandmother view” (Skunk Anansie).
The winning team was from Lloyds TSB Bank, followed by “Halal, is it meat you’re looking for?” (UWE) a close second and “Let’s Get Quizzical” (TLT) in third place. Prizes consisted of rare musical artefacts from all over the globe.
