Barcan+Kirby expands Corporate and Commercial team with appointment of Senior Associate


Barcan+Kirby continues to strengthen its Commercial division with the appointment of Senior Associate, Premila Patel, to its Corporate and Commercial team.

Premila has ambitions to support the growth of the department and develop the firm’s network of key clients and contacts within Bristol.  She will work from the firm’s Gloucester Road office alongside Partners Georgina Bryant and Robert Davenport.

Premila joins the firm after working as Legal Counsel for Mitie Group plc, where she advised on service agreements and tender submissions for security, cleaning and landscaping services.

She said: “I am excited to join Barcan+Kirby at their Gloucester Road office and support the strengthening of the firm’s reputation for providing excellent corporate and commercial services.

The firm will support me to build on my in-house experience of commercial contracts and my understanding of what commercial clients are looking for.”

Commenting on the appointment, Managing Partner Bill Willcocks said: “We are delighted to appoint Premila to the Corporate and Commercial department and look forward to the continued growth of our Commercial division.”
