CLARKE WILLMOTT FORTIFIES RELATIONSHIP WITH HSBC THROUGH £8.5 MILLION FUNDING DEAL


The Bristol-based corporate team at law firm Clarke Willmott have advised HSBC Bank plc on its funding of an £8.5 million management buy-out of Aero Stanrew Limited, a leading supplier of electromagnetic components to the aerospace sector.

With 170 staff in Barnstaple and Tunisia, Aero Stanrew counts Rolls-Royce, AgustaWestland, Goodrich, Thales and GE Aviation among its clients.

Jane Oakland, partner at Clarke Willmott, said: “This deal is a great example how our specialist teams can work together to the benefit of our clients. My team advised the bank on the corporate aspects of the deal, along with colleagues who advised on facility agreements and security. It further strengthens our relationship with HSBC.”
