Bristol Law Society shall also be hosting an event on Monday 28 October 2013, from 5.30pm at The Law Library which will be chaired by Ian Kelcey.

We hope that you can join us so that we may discuss these continued threats to the Criminal Justice System with a view to collectively and individually responding to the further consultation which closes on Friday 1st November.

Please find a letter from Sarah Forshaw QC Leader of the South Eastern Circuit to Des Hudson and a link to the transcript of the evidence given by Chris Grayling to Parliament Justice Committee on 16 October.

BLS hopes to have a draft response prepared in advance of the meeting which we hope to circulate in the week.

If you plan to attend next week, please email Valerie Squire to register your interest.
