Foot Anstey has acted on the £26.8m sale of a distribution centre to a Kuwaiti investor who recently bought a property in Bristol in a £19m deal.
The team has advised on the sale of the Argos National Distribution Centre in Stafford to the investor who also recently acquired the Everything Everywhere office at Aztec West.
Islamic finance specialists at law firm Foot Anstey advised the Kuwaiti business on a shariah-compliant investment structure, financing documents and real estate aspects of the acquisition.
The Foot Anstey team was led by Islamic finance partner Imam Qazi. The team also included partner Matthew Stoate (private equity) together with solicitors Zahir Nayani (Islamic finance and real estate) and Benjamin Kumordzie (banking).
