Junior Lawyers’ ball raises over £3000 for Children’s Hospice South West

The Bristol Junior Lawyers Division raised £3007 at their recent annual ball, beating last year’s total.

The committee’s Vice-Chair, Ali Batchelor (Withy King LLP), organised the ball with the help of JLD Chair Nicola Cunnington (DAC Beachcroft), Laura Cavill (Direct Line Group) and Danielle Spalding (Ashfords).

“The ball was a huge success this year and we are delighted to have raised so much for such a wonderful local charity. Janey Hellman, attended the event on behalf of the charity and gave an important reminder of the crucial work that the charity carries out. Huge thanks go to Paragon Costs, St Johns Chambers, Hayes Legal and Wesleyan for Lawyers for their continued support which allowed us to host the event. With the involvement of our sponsors and membership we hope to raise over £5000 by the end of the committee year”.

The Bristol JLD will be continuing to host events in aid of CHSW until the end of the committee year in November.
