LASPO Survey – University of Essex Law School

“I am writing with regard to a research project I am currently managing as Principal Investigator. My colleagues and I are exploring the effects of LASPO on access to legal aid and, more generally, justice. Our work is funded by the British Academy.

So far, we have collected and analysed extensive data, with interesting results. Our current goal is to better interpret our findings by looking at the views of judges and practitioners. To this end, we have compiled a survey. The questions, format, and accompanying documents have been granted approval by the relevant Research Ethics Committee of the University of Essex.

Ensuring that the information we receive comes from the appropriate sources is essential to our work. Therefore, I would be most grateful if you could distribute the survey to your members by sharing this link: https://essex.eu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_1GqlE95oF4klG8C

The time required to complete the survey is approximately ten minutes”
