Bristol Legal Awards – Charity Fundraising Ask for Guests on the Night!

  • Posted on

Our Charity of the Year is Young Lives vs Cancer and you will be hearing about all the great work they are doing.  We are finalising our charity raffle which will be announced on the evening.  Please do come prepared for amazing charity raffle prizes that is exclusive to this event!  Cash or card we can take both! But we have an additional ask!

Young Lives vs Cancer Homes from Home supports families of children diagnosed with cancer (there are only 10 such houses across the UK – we are lucky we have 2 in Bristol, close to Bristol Royal Hospital for Children – the principle treatment centre in the South West) with free self-catering accommodation so they can be close to their child whilst undergoing vital treatment.  Sometimes families need to travel urgently for this vital treatment and don’t have time to even bring the basics with them.

We are hoping that everyone could please bring one or two items from the below lists with them to the dinner, if you can afford it, a small amount from you will make so much difference.

There will be a number of gold boxes around the cloakroom/reception area on Thursday for you to drop your donations off on arrival (so you don’t have to carry them around all night!).   If you have trouble finding one or if it is full, please find Clair who will be happy to take it from you.
