3+ PQE Non-contentious Construction Lawyer -Bristol – BLS1406

The Construction team of this highly regarded regional firm are in expansion mode and looking to recruit 2 solicitors to join their highly regarded teams in both the Bristol and  London office. The national construction team currently comprises four partners, one senior associate, one associate and three solicitors.  The ideal candidates will have a good grounding and experience in non-contentious construction matters.  You will ideally be circa 3 PQE but candidates above and below this PQE  will also be considered dependent upon the particular experience they bring.

The type of work will be very broad ranging and will include renewable energy, social housing, retail, leisure, and property development work.  Familiarity with the usual standard construction contracts such as the JCT and NEC will be a given.  Knowledge of the MF1 and FIDIC forms will also be beneficial but not essential.

Candidates must be technically excellent with strong drafting skills but equally important, commercially aware.  They will be a team player with a client focussed approach and able to demonstrate a willingness to be involved in the local business community and business development activities.  They will also have a strong academic background and excellent communication and organisational skills.

Please note we use PQE levels purely as a guide to the minimum level of experience required.  However we are happy to consider applications from all candidates who are able to demonstrate the skills necessary to fulfil this kind of work.
