Dear Bristol Law Society members,
Please take notice that the Annual General Meeting of Bristol Law Society is to take place on Tuesday 26th November 2013 at 5.30pm at the Law Library, Small Street, Bristol.
Please find attached the AGM Notice and a Council Nomination Form. Minutes of last year’s meeting, the last set of Accounts and any papers to be tabled for consideration in advance of the AGM will be available on the web site or from the Registered Office of Bristol Law Society Limited in due course.
We welcome all members to attend our AGM and please take note that, should you wish to put yourself forward for election, several positions of Ordinary Members of Council will, by Tuesday 26th November 2013, have become vacant as a result either of retirement or voluntary resignation. If you would like to discuss becoming more involved with the Council of Bristol Law Society then please contact Valarie Squire by email on valerie@bristollawsociety.com and one of the current Council members would be happy to call you back.
Proxy Forms
In the event that you know now that you are NOT going to be able to attend the AGM then please see attached two versions of a proxy form which will allow you to give you vote towards another Council Members (or any other member of Bristol Law Society) who is able to attend. Note that this applies to Full Members (e.g. solicitors and retired solicitors).
Otherwise, we look forward to seeing you at the AGM.
Executive of Bristol Law Society.
