Bristol Law Society is proud to launch Bristol’s first dedicated Social Mobility Conference for the legal sector, bringing together legal professionals, students, educators, employers and community leaders to explore how we can create a profession that is truly accessible to talent from all backgrounds.

This landmark event will examine the barriers and opportunities that shape careers in law, from routes into the profession and the role of financial literacy, to career progression, workplace culture and the actions needed to drive lasting change.

Through a series of engaging discussions and networking opportunities, the conference will provide a platform for sharing ideas, challenging assumptions and building a more inclusive future for the legal profession in Bristol and beyond.

Join us as we start an important conversation about the future of social mobility in law in Bristol and the South West.

Three things to say about my experience of working with Bristol Law Society. Their central team, council members and general hangers-on are just about the nicest, most generous group of people working in the legal sector today. The numerous events, awards, socials and conferences I’ve had the pleasure to attend over the years have been, without exception, top quality and supremely organised.
