Invitation to special workshop to shape Bristol Hate Crime & Discrimination Service 2026-2030
You are an important partner of Bristol Hate Crime & Discrimination Service, and we are writing to invite you to an online workshop to help shape the work of the partnership in the city.
As you probably know, we are a collaboration of 6 charities, led by SARI (Stand Against Racism & Inequality) with Brandon Trust, Bristol Law Centre, Bristol Mind, Bristol Off the Record and Resolve West.
We each provide specialist services for people facing hate crime and discrimination and we deliver holistic work to tackle hate and discrimination for all communities – you can find out more here: www.bhcds.org.uk.
We are pleased Bristol Impact Fund is continuing to prioritise funding for hate crime and discrimination services, and we are beginning work on our application for the next funding round, to deliver from 1st April 2026.
To shape the very best application for this work we are committed to listening and learning, to better meet needs and achieve the most impact.
This workshop will be the chance for discussion and consultation on:
- What we are doing well, and where we need to improve
- Who is / isn’t accessing our services and how we best reach people that need us
- The way we work and the services we provide
Anyone who is interested in making Bristol a safer, fairer more inclusive City is warmly encouraged to attend to share their views and ideas, and if you can’t make the workshop but would still like to have your say, please get in touch.
Please do share this invitation within your organisation or with others.
