The Law Society of England and Wales in collaboration with Bristol Junior Lawyers Division are holding a special event for junior solicitors:

Thursday 9 July 2026 – 17.30 for 18.00 until 20.00

Venue: VWV, Narrow Quay House, Narrow Quay, Bristol BS1 4QA

Join the Law Society President, Mark Evans for a special event as part the Law Society’s 2026 junior programme. Mark will discuss his Presidential year and there will be a panel discussion (including BLS President, Salma Maqsood) covering some of the key issues facing juniors including:

well-being and work/life balance
how tech and AI could change the solicitor’s skills toolbox
the big issues that will shape the legal sector in 2026 and beyond.

It’s also a great chance for juniors to make new connections and find out how both the Law Society and Bristol JLD programmes can help you and your career.

Three things to say about my experience of working with Bristol Law Society. Their central team, council members and general hangers-on are just about the nicest, most generous group of people working in the legal sector today.
