Sustainability in Legal Practice: The Green Badge Initiative Roundtable

Following our recent announcement that we have joined forces with Landmark Information to help law firms of all sizes begin their journey toward net zero, we are inviting members to join us at our launch roundtable to find out more about our Green Badge Initiative.
BLS are the first of the “Joint V” regional law societies to take this step, and we hope that by embarking on our own Net Zero journey and inviting our members to come along with us, we are setting a strong example, showing that sustainability is a shared responsibility and a strategic priority for the legal profession.
As part of its commitment to Net Zero and Sustainability, BLS has recently started to collect and record our emissions data and is in the process of setting our own Net Zero goals.
As well as the Green badge Initiative, BLS will also be relaunching our Sustainability Committee and inviting members to get involved in the committee as we look to increase the range of resources that can be found on our Sustainability webpage and provide more training and events for legal practices and practitioners on a wide range of Net Zero, ESG, sustainable practice management, property searches and climate/ environmental related issues.
Come and join us for an afternoon roundtable to find out more about how our Green Badge Initiative partnership is about more than simply reducing carbon footprints, and how we can help give our member legal practices the tools, knowledge, and support they need to take meaningful climate action, starting now.
To make the most of the roundtable, it would help us if you could respond to our survey so we understand where you are on your Net Zero Journey and how we can support you – complete the survey here
