David Deacon MRICS, Chartered Surveyor, Expert Witness and Director at HDs Ltd

David is a highly experienced Chartered Surveyor with over 20 years of expertise in residential and commercial property across both the private and public sectors. His career includes asset management, real estate, and housing condition surveys, where he has contributed significantly as an Expert Witness, supported by valuable courtroom experience. He brings in-depth knowledge to housing disrepair cases, acting for both claimants and defendants, and also assists landlords in understanding their property assets and data requirements. Alongside this, David has successfully delivered numerous property refurbishment projects and programmes, offering clients practical, real-world insights. As Principal Surveyor and Director of HDS Ltd, David combines analytical, strategic, and commercial skills with strong leadership. His work consistently meets statutory, regulatory, and client governance standards, delivering effective and reliable results.

Mark Rayner, Business Development Manager, Prosperity Insurance

Mark has worked in the insurance industry for 35 years, primarily in the Legal Expenses Insurance sector (both Before and After the Event). He has previously worked with DAS Group, ARAG, and Abbey Legal Protection, and for the past 2.5 years has been an ATE Business Development Manager at Prosperity Insurance. Throughout his career, Mark has specialised in B2B roles covering both account management and business development.
