Speakers
Roger Isaacs, Forensic Partner, Milsted Langdon
Roger is head of the forensic team and is a well-respected accountancy expert witness with a great deal of experience. In addition to his day-to-day role advising clients, Roger lectures widely on a variety of accountancy related topics including Business Valuation, Strategic Planning and Directors’ Duties. He is also the National Technical Director of the Network of Independent Forensic Accountants (“NIFA”) and has provided expert evidence on several hundred occasions. Although his evidence is most often presented by way of a written report, Roger is no stranger to cross-examination having testified in the County Court, the High Court, and the Magistrates Court, as well as in the International Court of Arbitration, the Employment Tribunal and the Lands Tribunal.
Alex Mitchell, Corporate Finance Director, Harbourside Corporate Finance
Alex has a wealth of experience ranging from FTSE listed companies to owner-managed businesses. In his role, he has supported businesses through strategic planning and been integral when guiding a business owner through significant actions like acquisitions and divestments, assessing market positioning and drivers, and appraising strategic options. Although he’s an expert in technology and software services, he has worked with businesses in many sectors, always striving to get the optimal outcome for clients. Alex enjoys providing support to business leaders as they navigate the complicated and challenging world of business mergers and acquisitions and takes pride in performing actions that are as non-disruptive as possible.
Hollie Edwards-Davies, Corporate Finance Director, Harbourside Corporate Finance
Hollie brings a wealth of expertise to her role at Harbourside Corporate Finance, having joined the team in 2024. With an impressive educational background, Hollie holds an LLB (Hons), BSc (Hons), and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), alongside being an accredited expert witness with Bond Solon, The Academy of Experts, and the Expert Witness Institute. Hollie enjoys understanding the intricacies of business value and providing tailored, high-quality advice. Her career began in 2000, working with high growth SMEs, and over the years, she has honed her skills in forensic accounting and corporate finance, working in practice since 2015. Her expertise includes business valuations, transaction advisory, and financial investigations, with extensive experience across a diverse range of sectors. She has also held finance and management roles in government and served on a local authority’s Standards and Ethics Committee for eight years.
