Bristol Legal Walk – Fundraising update!

Nearly three weeks on from the Bristol Legal Walk, the numbers walking from the Bristol Legal community was fantastic but being honest, the fundraising element off the back of such great participation has been very slow and disappointing with only 22% of the target fund received thus far! We know some more donations are due to come in soon which will help bump up that total but we really do want to beat last years total of £4k and ideally get up towards the £6k target too and at the moment that looks a long way off 🙁

It was a great turnout on a fabulous evening with 25 organisations and 160 individuals in the local legal sector coming together to walk 10km through Bristol city centre in aid of the Access to Justice Foundation.

Every donation really does makes a difference. Your support helps fund organisations that assist people facing eviction and homelessness, secure care for loved ones, and challenge discrimination and unfair treatment at work.

Three things to say about my experience of working with Bristol Law Society. Their central team, council members and general hangers-on are just about the nicest, most generous group of people working in the legal sector today.
