Changes to financial consent orders

Please be aware that a new PD has been approved. FPR 2010 PD36T which, by amending PD41B, means that with effect from 24th August 2020 solicitors cannot make paper applications for financial consent orders and can only make such applications via the DCO system.

Can I also remind you that the new costs rules come into effect on 6 July. This date coincides with the new allocation system for Bristol FR cases.

Three things to say about my experience of working with Bristol Law Society. Their central team, council members and general hangers-on are just about the nicest, most generous group of people working in the legal sector today.
