Judges at the prestigious 2019 British Accountancy Awards have crowned Milsted Langdon’s Forensic Partner Roger Isaacs Partner of the Year.

Roger is a prominent expert, who has helped to raise significantly the profile of his specialist field in the UK. He will be well known to many of our members in Bristol and is a long and valued supporter of Bristol Law Society.

Roger works with a wide range of professionals and the Courts, assisting with complex financial cases, where he is often called upon as an expert witness.

During the presentation at a special ceremony held in London the organisers said: “Roger is a deserved winner. His contribution to the profession is wide-reaching, focusing on both internal and external activities. He’s a true role model who successfully meets the brief.”
Roger supports clients and the Courts across the UK, but he also plays an important role within Milsted Langdon by helping to guide the future direction of our practice and by providing support to colleagues.

Speaking about his win at the awards, Roger said: “It is a real honour to be recognised by so many of my peers as the country’s leading accountancy Partner. Winning this award means a lot to me and demonstrates the growing importance of forensic work in the UK.
“Many thanks have to go to my firm, Milsted Langdon, our Partners and, of course, our hard-working team. We continue to take innovative steps to enhance the services we offer to our clients.”

Outside of his position at Milsted Langdon, Roger also sits as National Technical Director for NIFA (Network of Independent Forensic Accountants) and he is also the Chair of MGI Worldwide, a top-20 global network of accountancy firms.

His expertise is also often requested by the national press and he has appeared on Radio 4 and been featured in The Times and Law Society Gazette within the last year.
“The last 12 months have been a fantastic period for me, forensic accounting and Milsted Langdon. We have seen an increase in the number of instructions we receive for our forensic services and our practice has continued to grow,” added Roger.
More than 800 people attended the British Accountancy Awards, which is one of the largest gatherings of individuals from across the accountancy and financial professions in the UK.
