Have your say on Bristol City Council’s draft ‘Trans Inclusion and Gender Identity Policy’

  • Posted on

Bristol City Council has just launched a public consultation on a draft Trans Inclusion and Gender Identity Policy.

This draft policy aims to provide clarity on how best to support trans and gender-diverse service users and citizens, as well as making sure other characteristics are correctly and lawfully accounted for in any approach we take.

People are being asked to share their views to ensure that as many voices as possible are being heard and that policy is being developed with a clear understanding of the potential equality impact of the proposed approach.

As well as inviting you to respond the survey and give us your feedback, we’d be grateful if you could please help to share and promote this consultation which will run until Thursday 6 October 2022.
