Lawyers with Judicial Review experience – can you assist this research project?
Andrii Koshman is a PhD student at the University of Bristol Law School, researching how court data and statistics in the UK can improve public understanding of the courts and help laypeople access justice. He would like to recruit respondents for the empirical part of the project.
The ongoing empirical phase involves finding out what information laypeople seek about the judicial review litigation process and how the available court statistics can meet their information needs. He is looking to interview a small number of solicitors who:
-
specialise in judicial review and
-
have more than 5 years' experience of providing legal advice to laypeople (not just repeated or professional users) on bringing/navigating JR claims before the Administrative Court.
Full details of the process and requirements are set out in:
Topic Guide for interviews with JR solicitors
