LEGAL GROUP TARGETS REGIONAL EXPANSION WITH HSBC UK SUPPORT
Rothley Group, national private client legal services business, has secured an eight-figure funding package from HSBC UK to restructure its existing debt and support its long-term growth plans.
Having increased its team threefold in the last three years, Rothley Group, who operate Rothley Law and Money Redress, will use these facilities to strengthen working capital, improve financial flexibility and create capacity for further investment across its business.
The funding will allow Rothley to strengthen its existing office network, which spans Bristol, Birmingham, Leeds, London, Manchester, Milton Keynes and Reading, alongside its Leicester headquarters, and is expected to support a material increase in the company’s revenue target by the end of the year.
Colin Rutherford, Group Chairman at Rothley Group, said: “As the business has grown, it’s been important to have a funding partner that understands both the pace of our plans and the complexity of the market we operate in. The HSBC UK team has brought more than capital to the table; they’ve challenged our thinking, helped us plan for opportunities and risks, and moved quickly. That level of support gives us real confidence as we continue to scale the group, and we look forward to building on the partnership as we enter our next phase of growth.”
Rakesh Patel, Relationship Director at HSBC UK, said: “Over the past three years, Rothley Group has built real momentum, underpinned by a clear strategy, strong leadership and a proven track record of growth. This next phase will see it expand its services and strengthen its position in a competitive market. We’re delighted to be supporting the business as it enters this new chapter and look forward to seeing what it achieves next.”
