LSB: Consultation on policy statement on professional ethics

The LSB are consulting on a draft statement of policy on ‘Upholding Professional Ethical Duties.’ The draft statement contains a series of proposed outcomes for legal services regulators to pursue in helping legal professionals to understand and uphold their professional ethical duties.

The consultation will run from 6 March to 23:59 on 29 May 2025.

The LSB invite responses to all or select questions within the consultation document. Responses can be sent to consultations@legalservicesboard.org.uk.

We welcome all responses, recognising that any change in workplace and leadership culture will require action from across and beyond the legal sector. The consultation can be found here.

Three things to say about my experience of working with Bristol Law Society. Their central team, council members and general hangers-on are just about the nicest, most generous group of people working in the legal sector today.
