Milsted Langdon named as finalist for Tax Team of the Year at Accounting Excellence Awards 2026

Milsted Langdon are delighted to announce that they have been shortlisted for the 2026 Accounting Excellence Awards.

'These prestigious awards recognise the best firms within the accounting and tax profession and we are proud to be named as a finalist in the Tax Team of the Year (Large Firm) category.

The shortlisting recognises our firm’s tax practice for its exceptional client work in the last year and the growth of its client base and team.

The judges were impressed by our sustained programme of service quality improvements that has positioned us as one of the most comprehensive regional tax practices in the country, which also won us honours at the Tolley’s Taxation Awards earlier this year.

Over the past three years, we have made a series of strategic senior appointments, creating what our partners describe as “the strongest tax leadership team in our firm’s history”.

Our team operates across personal tax, corporate tax, international advisory, private client planning, forensic work and R&D tax relief, delivering a breadth of capability that is uncommon for a firm of our size.

Those appointments have also opened access to larger, more complex client mandates, which have included a growing number of household business names.

The tax practice is a central contributor to our wider firm performance, as we have seen our turnover grow year-on-year – in part due to the tax team’s impressive reputation.

Three things to say about my experience of working with Bristol Law Society. Their central team, council members and general hangers-on are just about the nicest, most generous group of people working in the legal sector today.
