NHS Talking Therapies provide free and confidential support for people experiencing depression, anxiety, stress and a range of other mental health issues in Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire.
We've recently launched a series of Workplace Wellbeing courses designed to improve the resilience of workforces across our area.
People can book onto our courses individually through our website, but we can also put together bespoke courses for separate workplace that just your staff/colleagues can take part in.
Courses take 5-6 hours and we can deliver them online or in person in a way that suits your organisation (e.g. 1 hour a week for 5 weeks, 2 x 2.5-hour sessions etc). We would ask for a minimum of 15 people to take part (no maximum number).
Some examples of courses we're able to run:
Work-Life Balance: Managing Workplace Stress and Burnout
Who is it suitable for: This course helps patients who are presenting with workplace stress, or who are struggling to get a decent work-life balance that might be impacting on their homelife or mental health.
Key Elements: The course focuses on understanding stress, building awareness of bad habits, working towards values and managing thoughts.
Calm the Mind: Managing Worry & Overthinking.
Who is it suitable for: Low mood, worriers, depression, anxiousness, feeling overwhelmed, low self-esteem, social concerns or stress
Key elements: The course will teach patients about the habit of rumination and worry, how to think in a problem-solving way, and learn ways to manage their self-critical inner voice and focus their procrastinating mind.
We could also put together courses on, Living Well with Menopausal Symptoms, A Mental Health Course for Young Adults, A Mental Health Course for Men and A Mental Health Course for Women. Happy to work with you to put together the best course for your organisation. For more information visit our website here: Mental Health Courses - Vita Health Group
