SRA 2026/27 business plan consultation – The Law Society response

The Law Society have responded to the SRA consultation on their 2026/27 business plan and funding requirements. You can read and download their full response here: https://www.lawsociety.org.uk/campaigns/consultation-responses/sra-business-plan-and-budget-2026-27

We would encourage all members, whether firms or individuals to take the opportunity to respond to the consultation - the deadline for submissions is 12 noon on Monday 22nd June. You can draft your own response or if you agree with the Law Society response and simply wish to endorse fully or with additional comments then this is also a good way to get involved and demonstrate the profession's views on the regulator.

Three things to say about my experience of working with Bristol Law Society. Their central team, council members and general hangers-on are just about the nicest, most generous group of people working in the legal sector today.
