The Advisory AI Growth Lab – open for applications

The Advisory AI Growth Lab for Legal Services is now open for applications.

The Advisory AI Growth Lab is a new sandbox designed to accelerate the development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) by helping innovators navigate existing regulatory frameworks with greater confidence.

The Growth Lab will support organisations developing innovative AI solutions for the legal services sector. Further information about the programme, including eligibility criteria and how to apply, is now available. Applications close at 23:59 on 27 September 2026.

Hosted by The Department for Science, Innovation and Technology, a launch webinar will take place on Monday 10 August, which will provide an overview of the Lab, the application process and eligibility in more detail. You can sign up to attend.

Three things to say about my experience of working with Bristol Law Society. Their central team, council members and general hangers-on are just about the nicest, most generous group of people working in the legal sector today.
