Please find below the Law Society’s response to the Solicitors Regulation Authority’s (SRA) consultation on the arrangements and rules for an SRA-run indemnity scheme to provide consumer protection for post six-year negligence.

The consultation will close on 3 January 2023 and those wishing to respond to the consultation can do so on the SRA website.

Three things to say about my experience of working with Bristol Law Society. Their central team, council members and general hangers-on are just about the nicest, most generous group of people working in the legal sector today.
