The legal profession is changing, and so are the challenges people face within it.

The Solicitor's Charity's latest Big Report explores how pressures are evolving across emotional, professional, physical, and financial wellbeing, and what happens when those challenges begin to overlap.

We report shows an increasing demand for support, but also greater complexity in the situations people are navigating. More individuals are reaching a point where they need help, often across several areas of life at once.

The report provides a clearer picture of what that looks like across the profession, and why access to timely, joined-up support matters.

It also shows the difference that support can make. 83% of those the Charity supported said they felt more positive and able to cope, both now and in the future.

Three things to say about my experience of working with Bristol Law Society. Their central team, council members and general hangers-on are just about the nicest, most generous group of people working in the legal sector today. The numerous events, awards, socials and conferences I’ve had the pleasure to attend over the years have been, without exception, top quality and supremely organised.
