Welcome to the Bristol Law Society

Bristol Law Society has a proud tradition of serving and representing the legal community in Bristol and the South West since 1770, making it the oldest Law Society in the United Kingdom. Today Bristol Law Society continues to meet the needs of its members by providing services at excellent value and recognising the increasing demands placed upon our members and their practices. BLS is one of the few remaining local Law Societies to maintain a library and provides an excellent CPD training programme and professional recruitment service. BLS also offers a number of social and charitable events for our members.
