We’re running this session again for anyone who missed it last year.
This interactive session is delivered by Mary Jackson, a counsellor and former solicitor with significant experience in delivering training on this topic. Whilst touching on the basics of vicarious trauma this training will be an opportunity for attendees to discuss and share their experiences of vicarious trauma in a supportive setting.

It is relevant for anyone in the legal sector working with vulnerable clients or exposed to traumatic images or experiences such as in immigration, criminal, personal injury, clinical negligence or family work. This training aims to introduce and develop an understanding of the concept of vicarious trauma and its potential emotional impact, and to explore practical strategies that can help reduce the risk and manage its effects.
