Annecto Legal is an FCA-regulated broker of after-the-event (ATE) legal expenses insurance and all forms of litigation funding.
Annecto have established successful relationships with all ATE insurers and have access to over 35 funders.
Such access ensures a comprehensive approach in our negotiations to secure the most suitable terms for the client, and the reassurance of a full market appraisal. Upon receipt of an enquiry we will establish the law firm’s preference in our approach to ATE insurers and funders so that we can respond in our broking activity accordingly.
To secure the best possible outcome, it is essential to fully understand each insurer and funder’s requirements. At Annecto Legal, prior to going to the market, each ATE and funding enquiry is first assessed by our in-house underwriter, additional information obtained where necessary and a full presentation submitted to all potential markets; thus making sure submissions are complete and attractive, encouraging insurers and funders to prioritise Annecto cases and respond quickly. Anecdotally, Annecto have obtained terms on over 80% of the proposals submitted to market – far in excess of those generally achieved when Annecto is not involved.
